We offer a wide range of services and we feel creating a positive attitude toward dentistry is as important as the dental care itself.  To do this we use the "Show, Tell and Touch" approach.  We spend the extra time to patiently explain to each child what will happen at their appointment.

After the child gets acquainted with the staff, we tell them about the equipment and the instruments.  Then, we actually let them turn on the overhead light, squirt the water syringe, feel the suction from the vacuum and watch the handpiece spin!  Not until they are completely comfortable with the surroundings in our office will we begin treatment.

Did you know that pediatric dentists have additional years of training to acquaint them with the special needs of children?  That’s right!  In addition to learning the most up-to-date treatments available for a wide variety of children’s dental problems, we also learn how to deal with the behavioral aspects of children, how to make them feel comfortable about the treatment they are receiving and to make the experience pleasant.

Additionally, we are trained and qualified to treat special needs patients-those who may be medically, mentally or physically challenged.

* We can provide correction of minor tooth alignment irregularities.  (Children requiring comprehensive care will be referred to an orthodontic specialist.)

Hospital Dentistry

A unique service we offer is hospital dentistry.  Some children who are too young or medically, emotionally or physically challenged cannot tolerate treatment in the dental office setting.  If that is the case, we may recommend treating the child in the hospital under a general anesthesia with a trained anesthesiologist physician present.  All their dental treatment can be completed in one session while they are sleeping.

“We’d like to express a huge thank you for all you did to make our experience at the hospital such a pleasant one.  First, I’d like to thank you for being patient with what I wanted.  It meant so much to me to have you aware of my feelings and concerns about the procedure… While my son was having his teeth worked on, I knew that he was in the best care possible and that you had his utmost safety in mind.”
